HOME WORKOUT 101

Home workouts are our holy bible. We would like to personally thank whoever invented home workouts, the best invention in the fitness world.

Long gone are the days of waking up early on a cold, rainy winter morning and dragging ourselves to the gym, the dreaded rainy drive waiting for the heated seats to bloody get working. Something we're grateful is no longer part of our workout schedule.

Our routine usually looks like rolling out of bed 30 minutes later, after saving time on travelling to the gym, strolling downstairs and most often doing a quick workout in our PJs. Or if we're feeling extra snazzy throwing on a cute gym set and getting our ass to work.

Our favourite workouts to do from home, did we mention you can still do these at home?! Pilates, HIIT AND weight training, this routine even travels with us from the comfort of our hotel balcony and all be it a much nicer view. Life changing, I think this really is the hack when lacking in motivation.

We like to mix up our schedule, it's usually a combination of low-impact, mixed with weight training to get the most out of our workouts. After spending years in the gym & starting to become unmotivated home workouts have become our holy grail! Guilty of spending hours pretending to look busy in the gym, hello gym anxiety. To have the realisation that you can achieve the same results not only at home but even with a minimum of 20 minutes per day.

Look this isn’t us hating on the gym, sometimes there’s nothing better than a good old in-person high-energy class especially when you meet your friends there. It's a real endorphin booster. Home workouts aren't for everyone, it's all down to personal preference and finding what works for you.

For us with our busy schedule, it makes it more accessible, and we can't really use the traffic excuse to get out of it.

You would assume when working out at home you wouldn’t see the same results, however, this has been the total opposite. We have never felt more in shape (so modest) but it's true.

To get the most out of our home workouts we like to add equipment to really feel the burn. As always we want to share this with you, this is for all different methods of exercise classes just equipment which aligns well with all different workout styles. The great thing about most of these is you can travel with them too, just not the heavy stuff your luggage is already overweight enough!
